The white wine »Muschelkalk« Escherndorf Silvaner trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Rainer Sauer has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Spicy, herbal, tarragon, dill, oyster shell, apple, Mirabelle plum and also pear, a fine hint of capers. On the palate, substance, juiciness and the savoury minerality get along quite well, fresh and grippy in the phenolics, a miniature of the landscape.
