The white wine »Alte Reben 1G« Retzstadt Langenberg Silvaner trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Rudolf May GbR has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Fine spicy nose, herbs, roses, white peach, also jasmine. Then cooked gooseberries, hay and light pipe tobacco. The palate has a skilful acidity with lots of grip, very animating, light minerality. The aftertaste is salty, slightly drying and young.
