The rosé »Saignée« Rosé, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Schönbrunn has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Radiant salmon pink. Fine fruity and herbal aroma, raspberry, rose hip, fresh fig, plum, orange peel, mineral savouriness. Round and well-balanced on the palate, full-bodied, yet not filling, clear berry fruit, fine acidity, mineral savouriness and beautiful length, with good drinking flow as a soloist or with grilled fish and Mediterranean vegetables. A lot of wine for the price.
