The sweet and dessert wine »Edition Papillon« Muscaris, vintage 2022 from the winery Weinmanufaktur Gerhard Schwarztrauber has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Muscaris from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The unobtrusive nose does not overwhelm you, although the nutmeg is very present. There is also fruit: peach and honeydew melon. On the palate the wine has a silky-sweet flow; a firm acidity establishes balance. Multilayered and fine, a fine advertisement for the variety.
