Tasting Notes
Well-integrated, savoury new wood on the nose, with notes of popcorn and salted caramel. Smoothness is the trump card on the palate, but there is also enough substance to give the wine tension and juiciness, while the measured acidity adds a highlight to the elegance.
More about the tastingSmoke, toasty aromas, also wood spice, some green walnut and caraway, yellow fruit notes, apricot, pear. Firm and taut on the palate, linear, good substance, juicy, pear, slightly salty notes, fine tannins and phenolics, still emphatically dry. Can age a little more.
