Tasting Notes
Candy sugar, ripe pear, smoke and pepper on the nose. The palate shows the variety from a very round, supple side, the almost creamy fullness finds its support in a stable acidity and in a delicate, wood-supported phenolics. 100% Pfalz - but the Loire is a long way away.
More about the tastingMedium golden yellow colour. Smoky and woody notes, lots of quince, pear and green apple, orange peel, also hay and dried flowers. Powerfully built on the palate, intense with good substance, quite vivid acidity, juicy, finely saline, also fine citrusy notes.
