Tasting Notes
Lush fragrance: rose, lavender, mace and blood orange. There is also an undertone of warm brick. On the palate, the wine oscillates between the poles of viscosity and phenolics, neither of which are overused; the rather mild acidity provides sufficient support for the powerful body.
More about the tastingGolden yellow, slightly cloudy in the glass. Aromas of nutmeg, ginger and rose petals, hints of candied orange peel, malt and dried sage. Lean and taut on the palate, with energy and decisive acidity, medium extract giving perfect, grippy phenolics, bone dry. An exciting style.
