The white wine »Charakter« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Seyberth has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Still very yeasty and almost too young: a note of damp wool, but also honey notes. With aeration, yellow-fruity flavours, dried mango and some flint appear. The palate structure is supported by a pithy acidity and a texture with an intense tactile-mineral background. The name says it all. Potential!
