The white wine »Elexier« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Seyberth has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The wood barrel influence and the maturity play together beautifully: notes of aniseed biscuit, white liquorice, milk chocolate, unroasted white sesame. The palate is very rich and full-bodied, the finest phenolics, noticeable sweetness and supple drive combine to create a flavour of great richness and intensity. Enormous length - finally with flint flavours.
