The red wine Edenkoben Schwarzer Letten Pinot Noir, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Stefan Meyer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder
The fruit is still very youthful, with hints of dark berries, elderberry and cassis alongside roasted coffee notes from the wood. In the mouth the wine attacks with fine-grained tannins, backed by a supportive acidity. The powerful alcohol is seamlessly countered by extract and the finish is compact and full of tension. Has a lot going for it.
