The red wine Rhodt Rosengarten Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Stefan Meyer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Dried plum, gingerbread and orange on the nose, with violets and blackcurrant in the background along with a somewhat more animalistic edge. It's super savoury and finely floral, with the use of wood skilfully done. The tannins on the palate are fine and slightly grainy and the acidity is wonderfully integrated - a complex and interesting wine.
