The white wine 2017 »Ovum« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery BIO-Weingut Daniel Then has been rated in 2019 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Delicately smoky and yeasty, but also floral: dandelion, spring meadow. Still a compact, youthful structure on the palate, silky textured and finely nerved, with plenty of freshness in the round body. Will develop a fullness with tension as it matures in the bottle.
