Tasting Notes
Lush aromas of blackberry, chokeberry and fermented walnuts, paired with roasted pepper smoke on the nose. The mouth is clothed in tannins reminiscent of green peppercorns, edged with juicy wild berry confit. The extract density is complemented by noticeable acidity, which buffers the alcohol somewhat and lends it tension. Goes well with venison ragout with cranberries.
