The red wine Burgweg Spätburgunder, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Wageck Pfaffmann has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points.
On the nose very complex: a touch of patina with undertones of malt, mosto cotto and milk chocolate, discreet oak. On the palate the wine is rather broad, with mellow tannin grain. Lively acidity and an expansive supple structure combine to create the image of a wine that is just beginning to open.
