Dark, intense red. Closed nose, candied fruit, some notes of fruit compote, concentrated, black fruit, wood. Powerful attack on the palate, pithy, compact tannins, structured with juicy, fresh acidity, long finish. A blockbuster Merlot, powerful, needs time to mature.
