Barsaglina is a red wine variety cultivated in the Italian region of Tuscany. It is generally not developed as a pure variety, but is used as a blending partner and is included in the DOC wine Colli di Luni. Its cultivation is recommended in the province of Massa-Carrara. At the beginning of the 1990s, the area under vines was just 45 hectares. The wines have a strong ruby red color and a high alcohol content. However, they lack a structuring acid structure.
