Seit seiner Eröffnung 2028 ist die Bar am Wasser ein beliebter Treffpunkt für alle Cocktailenthusiasten geworden. Inhaber Dirk Hanys lädt dabei zu spektakulären Drinks in einer eleganten Atmosphäre, bei der immer etwas los ist. Neben geliebten Klassikern springen natürlich die Eigenkreationen des Bar-Teams ins Auge. Nicht ohne Grund wurde die Bar im Mayfair’s Connaught Hotel im Rahmen der “The World’s 50 Best” zur besten Bar der Welt 2021 gekürt, und das bereits zum zweiten Mal in Folge. Diesen Auszeichnungen schloss sich der Falstaff Barguide 2021 an und kürte Dirk Hany zum Gastgeber des Jahres.

Die Züricher American Bar “Old Crow” besticht allem voran durch ein überwältigendes Spirituosensortiment. Über 1.600 Spirituosen, darunter alleine etwa 500 Flaschen Whiskey, stehen hinter der Bar bereit. Es gibt also fast nichts, das nicht zum Mixen hochkarätiger Drinks herangezogen werden kann. Neben klassischen Cocktails, die mit großem Know-How und einer spürbaren Passion für die Sache individuell auf den Gast zugeschnitten werden, stehen auch einige vergessene Rezepte auf der Karte, die immer einen Versuch wert sind.
