Illumina Light Gardens
On the approximately two-kilometre-long circular path around Grafenegg Castle, visitors to the Illumnia Garden of Lights can immerse themselves in a fascinating world full of light and music. You can really look forward to Christmas as you admire thousands of lights, sound installations and laser projections along the way. From 11 Nov. the garden of lights also opens at Laxenburg Castle and from 23 Nov. in Stift Klosterneuburg. An excursion for the whole family!

Vienna's highest Christmas market
This year's Christmas market in the Atmosphere Rooftop Bar of The Ritz Carlton, Vienna is all about urban après-ski. Sitting in real ski gondolas from Salzburger Land, visitors can enjoy the pre-Christmas season to the full. With a view of the breathtaking and hopefully snow-covered Vienna, the magical market with its culinary highlights will tempt you to linger all night.

Austro-American Christmas
The new indoor Christmas market at the Vienna Marriott Hotel opens on 11 November. A pre-Christmas village with lovingly decorated Austrian-American stalls invites you to shop, browse and drink punch – without having to brave the elements. The musical programme also encompasses the Old and New World. From 19 November, Austrian singer Caroline Kreutzberger will get visitors in the holiday mood, singing best-of American Christmas songs for two hours each Saturday.
