With its transformation into the Kimpton Los Monteros, a new luxury hotel has emerged on the Costa del Sol—one that skillfully translates its storied past into a contemporary design language. The seamless harmony between historic elements and modern flair is thanks to the award-winning interior design studio Equipo Creativo. The Spanish firm drew inspiration from Marbella’s rich cultural heritage for the redesign. Guests stroll across terracotta tiles, admire geometric patterns, and take in flowing organic curves that blend effortlessly into one another.
This warm ambiance continues throughout the hotel’s 195 guest rooms and suites, designed by the renowned studio Cristina Carulla. Natural materials and vibrant color accents reflect the coastal surroundings, with the sea playing a central role. Many rooms feature terraces with sea views, reinforcing the Mediterranean vibe that breezes through every space like a breath of ocean air.
