Hotel openings

Last week, the time had come: the traditional "Steigenberger Icon Europäischer Hof" in Baden Baden celebrated its hotel opening with a glittering party and hundreds of guests.

The iconic hotel in Baden-Baden celebrated its reopening last Thursday with a host of celebrities. After extensive renovation, the "Steigenberger Icon Europäischer Hof" now shines in new splendor.

The house combines history and future

With the reopening of the "Steigenberger Icon Europäischer Hof", Baden-Baden has not only regained an architectural jewel, but also a new attraction for international guests. Where crowned heads once stayed, a place for encounters, enjoyment and great moments is now being created once again.
The hotel can look back on an eventful past; the success story of the Steigenberger brand began here almost 100 years ago.

Elegance and experience in Baden-Baden

126 individually designed rooms and suites, a spacious spa area, the elegant "Auerhuhn Lounge Bar" and the "Luiza Rooftop Terrace & Bar" with a 360-degree view over Baden-Baden make the hotel an experience.

The Europäische Hof also sets culinary accents; with the "Restaurant Café de l'Europe" and carefully curated moments of indulgence, the hotel builds on Baden-Baden's great tradition as a meeting place for guests from all over the world. The portfolio is complemented by modern event rooms and an exclusive retail space, including Germany's first Porsche Studio.

The history of Steigenberger began 95 years ago with the Europäischer Hof. Today we are opening a new chapter and this house will once again become a shining fixture in one of Germany's most beautiful cities.

Baden-Baden celebrates its new meeting place

The Grand Opening reflected what the hotel would like to embody in the future: hospitality, elegance and joie de vivre. Among the 500 guests were personalities from the worlds of culture, business and society. TV presenter Frauke Ludowig hosted the evening, Max Giesinger gave a private concert and DJ Tom Novy transformed the rooftop bar into a dance floor.
