McDonald's Launches Coriander Sundae in China
McDonald's has caused a stir with their latest limited-edition McFlurry. The sundae comes with vanilla ice cream, coriander sauce and a topping of coriander flakes.
A craze for coriander
The world's largest fast-food restaurant chain introduced a coriander ice-cream sundae in China in February. Called the Lemon & Coriander Flavoured Sundae, it has a base of vanilla ice-cream, a lemon-flavoured topping and dried coriander leaves sprinkled on top. The dessert costs 6.6 Yuan / $1.05.
According to official website of McDonald's China, there are only limited quantities of the coriander sundae so it is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Coriander fans have wasted no time getting their hands on the ice cream and posting their special dessert online.
