Residence Inn by Marriott, part of the hotel group´s portfolio of 30 brands, will open its latest UK aparthotel in Manchester. The brand´s fifth Residence Inn property in the UK, it will be its first in Northern England, with the other four located in London and Scotland.

The new Residence Inn Manchester Piccadilly is located in the heart of the city on Laystall Street, less than ten minutes from the city's central transport hub, Manchester Piccadilly. The 155-guestroom hotel will have studios and one-bedroom suites for leisure and business guests; 25 of the studios and suites offer baths, and over half offer sofa beds in the living space, with the hotel also pet-friendly.

Every room at the new aparthotel has a kitchen featuring microwaves, single ovens, two-ring hobs, refrigerators and dishwashers, with all the cookware travellers need to create their own meals. Self-service communal laundry facilities are available on-site and open at all times. The area has undergone significant development over the last few years and is now home to some dining, drinking and cultural establishments; additionally, the hotel will be home to two retail spaces on the ground floor, independently accessible from the hotel.
