As one can see on your blog, you travel a lot. Why do you always like to come back to Porto?
Because it's my home and I feel incredibly comfortable here.
What makes the city so special for you?
It's the whole atmosphere: the buildings, the people, the weather. Unlike many other cities, Porto is just insanely relaxed. Especially the summers here are indescribable.
What does a perfect day in Porto look like for you?
It starts with a croissant from Dolce Alto, followed by an extensive shopping tour. For stylish designer pieces, I prefer to go to Fashion Clinic, for furniture to Loja and for magazines that you can't get anywhere else, to Stay Wise. For lunch, I often go to Casa d'Oro, which offers a unique view. In the evening I meet friends for a glass of wine at sunset in the restaurant Miradouro Ignez.
Where do you go with friends who are visiting Porto?
A picnic in the Parque de Las Virtudes is an absolute must. Afterwards, I show them the Serralves Villa and of course the Livraria Lello. In the evening, when we are still hungry after the long day, we get a hotdog from Gazela - the best in town.
What do you think everyone who comes to Porto must have tried?
A Francesinha, the classic Portuguese sandwich topped with cheese. It has a million calories, but it's simply delicious!
