One of Poland's leading fine dining restaurants, and a place worth visiting for almost every new set. Everything is on the table: forgotten dishes from three centuries ago, ancient folios, and unexplored regional ingredients, resulting in interesting, educational, delicate, and incredibly beautiful dishes.

At Nuta, they manage to blend Polish and Italian cuisine, adding a touch of Asian influence and generously seasoning it with wonderfully crazy ideas from the chef Andrea Camastra. One of the definite must-visit restaurants in the Polish capital.

Plac Trzech Krzyży 10, 00-499 Warschau, Poland

This small, modern restaurant surprises in every possible way. The menu is designed so that you can either order 4-5 small dishes a la carte or opt for a tasting menu with a very decent wine pairing.

Jagiellońska 22, 03-719 Warschau, Poland

Mokotowska 48, 00-543 Warschau, Poland

It's hard to imagine a more suitable location for a Polish cuisine restaurant than the main park of Warsaw – Łazienki Królewskie (Royal Łazienki Park), At Belvedere, which is located in the historical building of the New Orangery, they serve elegant and aristocratic Polish dishes, the kind that would have easily graced the table of the Polish monarch several centuries ago.

Agrykola 1, 00-460 Warschau, Poland

This is an absolutely cult place. Within half an hour after opening, there are usually no free tables, and the queue at the entrance are enormous. The dishes here are vibrant, but familiar to everyone, and their execution is flawless. But the most important thing is that they are meant to be shared. Here, you should order a good portion of the menu, spread the plates across the table, try and discuss all of it under a glass of natural wine. And preferably, one should do it with a good company.

Nowogrodzka 10, 00-511 Warschau, Poland
Contemporary Cuisine

The main word to describe Kieliszki na Próżnej is balance. Balance between the contents of the plates and the glasses, as well as the prices for all of the above. And in this case, the balance comes close to perfection. The wines offered here are unique specimens from small and medium-sized wineries, and the gastronomic part always presents delightful surprises. The overall atmosphere and vibe prove that Kieliszki is suitable for almost any occasion - from a date to a business meeting.

Próżna 12, 00-107 Warschau, Poland

A concept almost entirely revolving around fish and seafood, of exceptional quality and superbly executed. Everything is utilized: unconventional parts of fish, insanely beautiful presentation, a conscious approach to fishing, and a nose-to-tail cooking format - it seems that there is simply no place in Warsaw where the creatures of seas, oceans, lakes, and rivers are prepared more interestingly than at Tuna.

Elektryczna 2, 00-346 Warschau, Poland

One of the most fashionable and stylish places in Warsaw, with a huge terrace and a magnificent view of the city center. The interior cleverly combines strict geometric design with homages to 1960s New York and works by iconic Polish artists. The menu boasts an array of gastronomic starters, from the spuntini set to a flawlessly executed tuna tartare with artichokes and lemon aioli, all designed to pair perfectly with the local cocktails, which are perhaps the main pride of Loreta bar.

Widok 9, 00-023 Warschau, Poland

Modern Polish cuisine with all the conveniences. Inside, minimalism reigns – with a lot of white color, tons of round lampshades, marble tabletops, and precise geometry. In such settings, modern but intelligently crafted Polish cuisine looks particularly appealing. So much so that The Eatery is rightfully considered one of the main ambassadors of the new wave of Polish cuisine.

Koszykowa 49A, 00-659 Warschau, Poland

A wonderfully crazy synthesis of traditional Polish cuisine and modern culinary approach: with bold flavors, unconventional dishes, clever twists, and vintage porcelain serving. In addition to the elaborate, yet very Polish in spirit, cuisine, there's an extensive selection of natural and biodynamic wines and an irresistibly unobtrusive atmosphere.

Targowa 81, 03-408 Warschau, Poland

Once a butcher's shop, the tradition is evident the moment you step in. The first thing you'll see is a huge display of cuts, sausages, and burger patties. While you could technically buy these «to go», the best way to experience Mięsny is to consult the menu and order one of their seven local steaks. All the food here is genius in its simplicity and quality. If you think a perfect meat restaurant needs something more, you're mistaken.

Walecznych 64, 03-926 Warschau, Poland

A prestigious and grand steakhouse with all the amenities, exuding a timeless atmosphere. The interior is calm and minimalistic, and the menu features meticulously executed classics that will undoubtedly appeal to everyone. The stars of the show here are, of course, the steaks - robust, straightforward, and served with an unimaginable variety of side dishes.

Twarda 18, 00-105 Warschau, Poland

An old-fashioned and sophisticated steakhouse inspired by Argentine culture. It's a classic and timeless place.

Hoża 25A, 00-521 Warschau, Poland

Located in a Szucha Palace, the restaurant boasts a sophisticated atmosphere of the 1920s and 1930s, but without excessive pomp. Aleja Jana Chrystiana Szucha 17/19, 00-580 Warschau, Poland

Stary Dom is a cult and timeless place. The name, which translates to «Old House», accurately reflects the essence of the restaurant – it truly resembles an old Polish mansion. The interior features noble wood and stone, with antique chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and the menu offers iconic Polish dishes, simple and refined. Of course, such surroundings wouldn't be complete without old-fashioned details like a fancy dessert display and a bar trolley for digestives.

Puławska 104, 02-620 Warschau, Poland

The restaurant's name is not just empty words or a metaphor - the owners indeed have their own farm in Warmian-MasurianVoivodeship, where they grow high-quality vegetables and breed Aberdeen Angus cattle. Any products they lack are sourced from local suppliers and brought directly to the restaurant. Needless to say, the quality of every ingredient - from cheeses from Złotna goat farm to fish raised in the Zielenica estate - is close to perfection. The main focus, of course, is on the steaks - for them, there is a large counter in the heart of the restaurant where customers can choose their favorite cut and enjoy meat of exemplary farm quality.

Mokotowska 8, 00-641 Warschau, Poland

Translated from Polish, the name means «Ribs and Bones», and just from that, you can already guess the local gastronomic preferences. While there are decent selections of appetizers and soups, the main focus here is on the rib sections - slow-roasted beef ribs and pork ribs, as well as dry-aged steaks for a minimum of 27 days.

Poznańska 38, 00-689 Warschau, Poland

Café Bristol can easily be called one of Warsaw's landmarks. It is located in a hotel built in 1901, right in the heart of Warsaw, just a stone's throw away from the Old Town. Inside, an almost pre-war atmosphere prevails – reserved, elegant, and noble. The menu offers perfectly executed classics that are as visually appealing as they are delicious.

Krakowskie Przedmieście 42/44, 00-325 Warschau, Poland

Mozaika is a cult place for several generations of Warsaw locals. The cafe appeared here in the 1960s, and at that time, it was the meeting place for the entire local bohemian crowd – with dancing, lively parties, traditional Polish cuisine, and a decent amount of alcohol. The new owners decided not to completely break the concept but to merge the old and the new into a unique and incomparable mix. The menu now focuses on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes (although some classic items, including the Warsaw-style tartare, remain).
