Eine Mischung aus mehr als 25 verschiedenen traditionellen Douro-Rebsorten, hauptsächlich Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz und Tinta Barroca, aber auch Rufete, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Francisca, Sousão und viele andere, alle von alten Rebstöcken zwischen 25 und 60 Jahren, die im Süden, Südosten, Südwesten, Osten und Westen liegen. Auge : Sehr dunkles Purpurrot. Nase : Die Aromen sind fantastisch konzentriert mit Noten von reifen roten Früchten, wie Schwarzkirschen, Brombeeren, Pflaumenmus und schwarzen Johannisbeeren. Mund : Der Quinta Vale D.Maria LBV Port ist glasig und weich, mit bemerkenswerter Balance und Finesse und einem sehr langen, fruchtigen Abgang. Auge : eine sehr dunkle violette Farbe Nase : Fantastisch konzentrierte Aromen mit Noten von reifen roten Früchten wie Schwarzkirsche, Brombeere, Pflaume und Johannisbeerkonfitüre. Mund : Der glasierte und weiche 2014 Quinta Vale D.Maria LBV Port hat eine bemerkenswerte Balance und Finesse sowie einen sehr langen und fruchtigen Abgang.

On the nose, dark fruits, lots of plum and blackberry and a subtle hint of eucalyptus. Intense and beautifully balanced on the palate with subtle acidity and ripe tannins, great length and a finish filled with dried and dark fruits.
