Very earthy character, dark berries, tart herbs, marzipan, a hint of juniper and some orange characterise the aroma. Served on ice, the palate is powerful and present, juniper and spice notes are evident, slight berry notes in the centre. Good harmony. The finish is slightly bitter and balanced.
