Straw-like colour should not fool you – the aroma gives you a lot of smoke and birch-sap at the same time. New leather shoes of expensive quality come into mind. Between hay and smoked kippers, this brings out some shades of smoke. There is no other flavour, but the kaleidoscope of peat notes is still impressive.
