Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2025

The great wines of the Cantina di Venosa, the only winegrowers' cooperative in Basilicata and one of the most important in southern Italy, are produced on the slopes of Monte Vulture. Founded in 1957, it now has 350 members who dedicate themselves to the cultivation of Aglianico, Malvasia di Basilicata, Moscato Bianco and Merlot on 800 hectares of vineyards. The winegrowers are closely connected to the land and yet are open to innovation, courageously carrying the heritage of their ancestors into the future. Two million bottles with 21 different labels are produced each year. .
