The 26 hectares of the estate are located on the northern slope of Mount Etna, 700 meters above sea level, and are cultivated according to the Alberello system with the autochthonous grape varieties Nerello Mascalese (red wine), Carricante and Minnella (white wine). They thrive on soils of volcanic provenance, sometimes stony and gravelly, sometimes sandy or ashy, with large temperature fluctuations that reach 25-30 degrees between day and night, with good ventilation. Over 2000 vines are ungrafted. The results are intense wines, rich in essences and aromas, with mineral and ethereal notes reminiscent of lava ash.
