The Princely Family of Liechtenstein has been closely associated with viticulture in the Principality of Liechtenstein since 1712. The history of Pinot Noir there goes back over 300 years. The style of the estate's wines - elegance, freshness and structure - is characterised by their provenance from the "Herawingert" monopole vineyard, which is characterised by slate and limestone and is located directly in the old centre of Vaduz. Just like the internationally experienced winery team led by Stefan Tscheppe, site manager Alexandra Goop and oenologist Natalie Ströhle.

The Princely Family of Liechtenstein has been closely associated with viticulture in the Principality of Liechtenstein since 1712. The history of Pinot Noir there goes back over 300 years. A visit to the Hofkellerei Liechtenstein or the Torkel restaurant, right next to the vineyard in Vaduz, is an experience for wine lovers. The style of the wines - elegance, freshness and structure - is characterised by their provenance from the outstanding "Herawingert" monopole vineyard, right in the old centre of Vaduz, the tradition of the Princely Family in viticulture and the passionate work of the young, internationally experienced team around Stefan Tscheppe, site manager Alexandra Goop and oenologist Natalie Ströhle. In the "Herawingert", 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay are cultivated on around four hectares of slate and limestone soils. The vines are over 45 years old. Since the end of 2018, Hannah Fiegenschuh from the renowned team of consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt has been sensitively overseeing the care of the vineyard, taking into account an provenance-oriented style. Differentiated foliage management, organic production (certified with the 2024 vintage), soil activation through seeding and regenerative soil cultivation, precise harvest times with manual grape selection by around 40 "Wimmler" (readers), as well as processing the Pinot Noirs with proportions of ripe stems, as well as whole cluster pressing for Chardonnay, result in wines of great finesse, typicity and fresh elegance. The wines of Hofkellerei Liechtenstein are therefore fresh, precise wines with a distinctive character and ambassadors of the Alpine Rhine Valley.
