In the municipality of Auer in the South Tyrolean lowlands, Luis Oberrauch runs a small winery that specialises primarily in the Indigenous Lagrein grape variety. The Vernatsch variety is also cultivated, and due to its characteristics, it is becoming increasingly important. Luis Oberrauch uses traditional cultivation methods and manual labour with great care and passion. The up to 80-year-old vines on the traditional "Pergel" with their low yields guarantee complex, unadulterated, elegant wines and thus meet high-quality standards.
