Ma'd Moser is fully committed to the dry Furmint from Tokaj. Rita Takaro and Lenz Moser have been working together on this vine for 7 years. In the summer of 2021, they decided to turn their passion for the region and this grape variety into a groundbreaking project. With Karoly Kovacs and his winery Mad Wine in Mád - the heart of Tokaj, a partner for their joint company was quickly found.
With Gabor Urban the cloverleaf is perfect - he is one of the best winemaking minds in the regions and a congenial partner for Rita and Lenz. It was a great pleasure to create the new style of MM5 (MA'D MOSER 5) together with him.
The goal is to surprise and delight wine lovers from all over the world with this new Furmint - both in wine style and "dress".
Tokaj has been famous for its sweet wines for centuries. Its dry wines, however, are still new and not known internationally. Nevertheless, fine wine lovers from all over the world, who know about the excellent quality, will be looking forward to the new offer.
Ideologically, Furmint is a vine that sits somewhere between Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. It "transports" like no other the soil, the terroir - and the wines from Mád are exclusively on the volcanic rock of mainly riolite, andecite and their tuffs - which gives the Furmint a fine, elegant polish.
