In the heart of Mendrisiotto, between the hills of Rovio, Pugerna, Coldrerio and Morbio, Vini Rovio Ronco cultivates around 8 hectares of vineyards and produces around 30,000 bottles a year. Founded in the late 1980s, it is now run by Joanna Metrailler and Carlos Piffaretti. The range extends from white wines, fresh rosés and flint wines to red wines full of character, such as the "San Giorgio", which is matured in Ticino oak. Craftsmanship and respect for the land characterise every bottle.
