It was not until March 2020 that winemaking couple Miriam and Alexander Ehrmann opened their Weingut in Weikersheim, in the Württenberg part of the Tauber valley – until then they had always delivered their grapes to the local co-op. That however, they report, is no longer good enough. They are setting a fresh, determined course and their aim is to make “handmade wines” with attention to detail, a clear signature and in tune with nature. Thus they presented a Grauburgunder with the fitting name “Der Individuelle.”A most promising debut in our guide – we look forward to following the progress in Tauber valley!
