Anyone who has ever travelled to Burgundy will be familiar with the name of the address where the Peter Landmann winery can be found: "Auf dem Rempart" is reminiscent of the Remparts of Beaune or Dijon, the famous city walls. Staufen used to have them too! The proximity to France is also noticeable in the wine: Peter Landmann cultivates an calm, classic style that makes his wines appealing accompaniments to food. Anyone visiting the Fauststadt Staufen can also savour a glass of wine at the family's "wine fountain" and enjoy a glass of wine with a tarte flambée.
