The sekt NV »Doctor Faustus« brut from the winery Weingut Peter Landmann has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Gutedel, Müller-Thurgau, Gelber Muskateller from the region Baden in Germany.
Yeast and honey on the nose, some hay, black pepper. On the palate, the wine is juicy, finely flint, medium-bodied and with a lively acidity that is rounded off with a comparatively vivid sweetness. A pleasant aperitif.
