Falstaff Wine Guide Germany 2026

Wine has been produced at the Posthof - which also housed the local imperial postal agency and gave the winery its name - since 1883. "We only produce wines that we like to drink ourselves": this is the top priority of the winegrowing family, in which Geisenheim alumnus Linus Doll now sets the tone. We tasted a range that emphasises the quality premise, with a dense and deep Silvaner at the top, which is a reference for the grape variety, followed by the substantial, long Syrah. A very promising debut!
