Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2026

The family winery is picturesquely situated in the village of Mazzon on a high plateau, surrounded by what is probably the most renowned Pinot Noir vineyard in South Tyrol. In 2020, the family decided to utilise the perfect microclimatic conditions of this unique location to produce their own wines. 14 hectares of vines are planted here, all dedicated to Pinot Noir, and the aim is to create their own interpretation of this variety, reflecting the terroir and the winemaker's signature style. Here too, less is sometimes more, and so only a Pinot Noir, a Pinot Noir Rosé and a grappa are produced.
