The wines of Lenz Moser are an important international figurehead for the Austrian wine scene. The winery, which is based in Rohrendorf near Krems, is not only the market leader in quality wines from Austria, but has always been and continues to be innovative. Among other things, the screw cap was introduced here as early as 1984 and has been used on almost all Lenz Moser wines since 2008.
"Small is beautiful." This phrase also applies to the Lenz Moser winery, as a large number of winegrowers, who together look after around 2,700 hectares of vineyards, bring the grapes to the winery in small batches in the fall. To ensure that only healthy and perfectly ripe grapes are delivered, the team led by head oenologist Michael Rethaller maintains close contact with the winegrowers and is on hand to advise them throughout the year.
In addition to the excellent quality of the products in all wine lines and the certainty that they have been produced with the greatest care, it is also the extremely measured price level of all wines that is appreciated by consumers. Lenz Moser wines also receive due recognition from recognised expert juries at home and abroad.
