Dark ruby, purple reflections, soft brightening on the rim. Smoky underlying wood notes, a hint of cloves and cardamom, blackberry fruit, subtle vanilla. Powerful, substantial, sweet blackberry fruit, well-integrated supporting tannins, chocolaty touch, fine caramel on the finish, certain ageing potential.
