Medium greenish yellow with silver reflections and a very fine, persistent mousse. Attractive yellow tropical fruit with some pome fruit, floral nuances, candied orange zest and a hint of brioche on the nose. The palate is taut and elegant, with a core of white apple, a fine acid structure, and salty accents on the finish which is mineral and tightly meshed. There's a savoury aftertaste here too, making for a versatile food companion with certain ageing potential and plenty of character. (Disgorged 03/24, Lim. 2908 bottles, PM).
