The white wine Rully blanc AOP, vintage 2020 from the winery Domaine de la Bressande has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rully in France.
Buttery and citrusy on the nose, there’s an undertone of unroasted white sesame and of hazelnut. The palate shows a positive, rounded oak-barrel influence on a medium-weight, structured, harmonious wine. Substance and richness in the Côte Chalonnaise style are integrated in a coherent way. This will be a worthy gastronomic Burgundy with a year or two of bottle ageing.
