Warm and dense on the nose, blackcurrants, blackberries, red bell peppers, ivy, fine wood savouriness, dark nougat chocolate. Powerful on the palate, full-bodied, lots of savouriness, fine fruit, fresh acidity with tension and pithy, ripe tannins, a good pairing for steak and grilled vegetables, still youthful.
