Old vines, 50 years plus, destemmed by hand. Distinct new wood, elderberry, very ripe raspberry, white pepper, very fresh impression, ripe acidity, powerful, gripping tannin, mild background, but immense extract filling. Rich and friendly in style despite the density, fruit-driven finish. Superb length.
