There are aromas of ripe pear, honeydew melon, and candied apple slices. It is powerful on the palate, with substance and also an appealing density, and it is juicy, spicy and mellow, with a well-integrated and supporting acidity. It is perfect to accompany dishes such as mushroom risotto.
