The red wine Barolo DOCG Castagni, vintage 2019 from the winery Alberto Voerzio has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby. Presents itself on the nose with notes of plums, some leather and blackberries. Crisp tannin on the palate, shows itself extremely grippy, then also quite harsh in the finish.
