The red wine Angelo Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Albino Rocca has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Compact nose, showing notes of plums, some blackberries, and truffle in the background. On the palate, sturdy and gripping tannins, a potpourri of ripe red fruits, pithy and dense, with ageing potential, still needs time to mature.
