The red wine Renatus Rosu Sarica – Niculitel DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Alcovin Măcin has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Dobrogea - Dobruja in Romania.
Vibrant ruby garnet, violet reflections, broad rim brightening. Berry fruit with herbal and spicy undertones, smoky nuances, subtle woody notes, some kitchen vegetables. Medium complexity, red berry touch, somewhat brittle tannins, appears a touch unripe, delicate bitter nuances in the finish, rustic style.
