The red wine »Weitblick« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Alde Gott Winzer Schwarzwald has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Sour cherry and plum jam, initial notes of maturity followed by redcurrant, dried tomato, malt and discreet caramel notes from the wood. Impressive on the palate, almost oily, on top grainy tannins with some resilience, rather mild acidity, still compact in the finish.
