The red wine »Ausblick Alte Reben« Spätburgunder Spätlese trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Alde Gott Winzer Schwarzwald has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose, ripe red cherry, maraschino cherry, fig, a touch of blood orange, dried herbs and hints of forest floor. A Spätlese from Pinot Noir that shows just what it can do: Powerful and vibrant with minerality and alcohol, ripe tannins and good length. A suitable accompaniment for braised dishes.
